For meaningful progression and a high-quality experience, a three-hour private session is recommended. This half-day format starts from 32,000 JPY depending on resort. Certain resorts operate on full-day formats only.

Lesson Format: Private session for individuals, families, or small groups of up to 4 riders.

Duration Options: Half day or full day depending on resort availability.

Which resort should we choose?

I can provide a personalized recommendation based on your skill level, accommodation, and the day's snow conditions.
Whether you need the gentle slopes of Yuzawa Iwappara or the versatile terrain of Ishiuchi Maruyama, I will guide you to the best location for your goals.

Are equipment and lift passes included?

No. Lesson rates cover professional instruction only. You will need to arrange your own gear and lift passes.
Most resorts in Yuzawa and Minamiuonuma have on-site rentals, and I can advise on the best options once our location is confirmed.

Where do we meet for the lesson?

We meet directly at the selected resort, usually near the ticket center or the base of a lift. Once your booking is confirmed, we will decide on a precise meeting point.
Please ensure you are fully geared up and ready to ride 15 minutes before our session begins.

Can I book a group with different skill levels?

Private groups of up to 4 are welcome, but for the most efficient progression, I highly recommend that all students have a similar ability level.
If you need additional instructors, I can arrange with the ski school directly.

Are you a certified instructor in Japan?

Yes. I am a certified snowboard instructor with CASI-ACMS Level 3 and JSBA, with over 15 years of experience.
I hold a work permit to teach in Japan and live here year-round.

How do I handle payment and booking?

All bookings are processed through the official ski school for insurance and professional standards. You can pay by credit card in advance or in cash on the day of the lesson.

Do you offer lessons in French?

Yes. I provide full-service instruction in both English and French, making it easy for Francophone visitors to receive clear, technical feedback in their native language.
